  • English Teaching Methodology (ELT1) is an introduction to the most commonly taught language teaching methods including Grammar-Translation, AudioLingual, Direct Method and Communicative Language Teaching. The course also covers other topics relevant to language teaching like Behaviorism, Cognitivism, Constructivism, the Affective Factors and Language Acquisition.
    Evaluating textbooks and designing language tests are also discussed in this course.
  • Welcome to the course of American Civilization 2009. The course aims at helping you gain a basic understanding of all aspects of The United States of America. Please log in 1-2 times per week to keep yourself on the right track!
  • This course provides technology training for Student Help Desk (SHD) members. Practical topics are created to train qualified students who can provide first line of support in ICT for language teaching and learning.
  • Contrastive Analysis is a broad area requiring knowledge from different fields of linguistics. This course is project-based and provides students with the basics of contrastive analysis. At the end of the course, students have to submit a contrastive analysis work from a language pair they know well.
  • In this course, students will explore the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in language teaching. The subject will acquaint students with a range of technological tools, help them to acquire the basic skills for using these tools and help them to understand how technology can be integrated into the language curriculum. This subject also has a practical component in which the students will use various software/tools to create resources for their own teaching environments.
